Shows & Updates - 20/04/08 Hello everyone,
as seems to be the standard at the moment, apologies for the lack of updates from camp Sucio.
We have been incredibly busy putting the finishing touches to yet another studio - it's a long story - and time has been tight. The finish line, however, is very much in sight, and we will shortly be downing tools to get out and play some shows.
The first of which, rather excitably, is our first ever instore show. We'll be hitting Glasgow's Apple Store on Buchanan St. this coming Thursday (24th) to play an acoustic set of material old and new. Entry is absolutely FREE, and proceedings should kick off at about 7pm - hope to see you there.
Over the next couple of months we'll be stretching our weary legs to play another bunch of shows, which look something like this:
MAY-29 KILMARNOCK Venue TBC
MAY-30 STIRLING Tolbooth
JUN-06 LONDON The Fly (A Badge Of Friendship)
JUN-15 GLASGOW King Tuts (TICKETS)
We are really excited about getting back out and playing, and these will be some of our first shows in over 6 months - hopefully we'll see you there.
We'd also like to take a quick minute to thank everyone over at the Captains Of Industry label, who, as of the last fortnight, have sadly ceased to be. Please give them a visit and say cheerio at their MySpace page.
And, ending on a positive note - our new album will be released later this year. We'll have more info for you soon.....hopefully.
We appreciate your patience,
Much love,
Sucio x |

some more bits and pieces.
Our new online store is up and running as of now - many thanks to Nobby and the fine folks at Resonance for hooking us up. You can check it out by clicking the shop link at the top of the site.
We are also one of Total Guitar magazine's 'Hot Bands For '08' - you can find us looking a bit more intense than usual in the forthcoming issue of TG, out next week.
More soon,

Updates & Such - 17/01/08 Hey again folks,
the remaining 4 videos from last year's Barfly show (The Final Confessions Of Mabel Stark, Tem V Com, I Don't Hate It, I Accept It, and Found You Makin') are now online at our YouTube page - thanks for the comments you've all been leaving, we hope you've dug the videos.
For those of you who have been e-mailing and asking on the forum for the sold-out Why Bliss Destroy and Hidden Perils Of Dancing EPs, you'll be glad to know that we will be unveiling our brand new online shop shortly - on which our entire back catalogue will be available digitally. Keep checking back to the site for the launch.
Pain Agency is now fully mixed and sounding phenomenal. It'll be mastered shortly, following which we'll be aiming to get it released as soon as possible. As always, stay tuned to the website for more updates and news. |

MySpace/YouTube/Thanks - 13/12/07 Dear friends,
As a little token of our gratitude, we have put 3 new recordings up on our MySpace page for your listening pleasure, alongside a lovely new photo of us. These songs will NOT be appearing on our second album 'Pain Agency'. They may only be up for a few weeks so enjoy while you can, and add a song, video and the banner to your profile to push the vibes out there, share the love. We have also added a further four live videos from the Barfly gig to our YouTube page, with the final four to be added before the years' end. We now have the Chris Sheldon mixes of the album, it already sounds huge and we are really proud. We are making a few minor adjustments and hope to master the album early January 2008. One way or another, we'll get it to you as soon as we can after that.
In other news, we are trying to get the multicam footage from the Glasgow ABC show (February 2007) together to put online too, with all of the edits done. We are also still hard at work on the documentary DVD which we can announce will be called 'Random Acts Of Idiocy'. More news as and when it happens my friends. Thanks for your continued support, patience and love.
Love

Videos Galore - 26/11/07 Hello all,
just to let you know that we are putting last summer's Barfly show up on YouTube. The first two parts - Wolf Carnival and Dialog On The 2 - are online now. You can search for it at YouTube.com or jump straight to our 'channel' at YouTube.com/sucioperrodotcom.
Keep an eye out for more soon, as well as more news on the album. We may even have some news on that elusive DVD.
For those who have been mailing us about t-shirts and CDs - we are currently sorting out a new online store, and will, as always, let you know when it's up!
Thanks for all your comments and messages, we're glad you're enjoying 'Liquids' (if you haven't checked it out yet, it's on our MySpace page), you'll dig the final mixes.
Stay alert and alive.

Album Noose - 14/11/07 Dear friends,
Sorry for the lack of updates. Here come a few.
As you may know we have been recording our second long player 'Pain Agency'. As you may not know since the last album and tours we have built a rehearsal/recording studio with our own limbs which took 9 months of blood, sweat and tears. We wrote, rehearsed and demoed over 50 songs for this record which we managed to bring to 12 that worked together lyrically, musically and emotionally, and captured where we're at and what we've been through. We also have other work which helped to keep the wolf from the door. As you can understand time has been tight.
Unfortunately during this time, our comrade The Farmer decided to leave the band which added a lot of strain to the making of the record. This hit us hard but after what we've been through together and knowing how much our music means to all of ya'll we had to soldier on, stay positive and tie the pimp down, i.e. the record.
We are very proud to let you know that the record has now been tracked and is currently being mixed in the big smoke by the legendary Chris Sheldon. We are also excited to tell you that the extremely talented Jamie Lenman and Craig B have both given beautiful performances on the record.
We shall let you know as soon as we can when the finished album will be available. We are looking at various options to get it out quick to you. We have already done photo shoots for the album with Gordon B and The Spider, and are now dealing with all the business stuff and nonsense.
As we couldn't wait any longer to let you preview some tracks we have decided to put up a band mix of 'Liquids' on MySpace (www.myspace.com/sucioperro) and Bebo (www.bebo.com/sucioperro). It may only be up for a short while and if you've not befriended us yet on Bebo, then get on it. Look out for 'Liquids' in the next few days, we wanted you to be first to know. We may add others!
Thank you all for your patience, and thanks lots to everyone that has sent big positivity and love our way. We hope to bring you more news soon. Believe in your dreams.

Pain Agency - 20/08/07 Hi all,
apologies for the lack of updates to the website and MySpace page, as we're sure you're aware, the band are still in the studio working on album #2 - which, if you read Dragon's studio diary or last month's issue of Rock Sound, you'll know is titled 'Pain Agency'.
Rather than succumbing to any sort of studio/cabin fever, the guys will be playing Glasgow for the first time in a while tomorrow night (August 21st), at the Barfly. It's the launch night for All My Logic's latest EP - Sucio will be rocking a FULL LENGTH set, as per our own shows. There will be tickets available on the door (priced at £5), with an 8pm kickoff. We hope you can make it. |

Today, Glasgow. Tomorrow, The World! - 16/06/07 Hey everyone,
we're all looking forward to tonight's show at the QMU immensley, it promises to be pretty special. For those of you coming down, the boys are onstage at about 8.15pm.
In other news, we've finally gone international. Sucio will be making their first trip overseas to play the 'On The Rocks' festival in Salzburg, Austria, on July 20th. Also playing are Brant Bjork and The Bros, and These Arms Are Snakes. You can find more details (if you can read/speak German) at www.therocks.at. Everyone is incredibly excited to be hitting Europe for the first time, so we hope some of you reading over the water will be able to make it.
The guys have also begun work on the recording of album number two. The first week has gone incredibly well by all accounts, and we'll have some updates and titbits on the site soon... |
